We provide students with an unrivalled opportunity to unleash their engineering talent.
We are on a mission to unleash students’ talents and capabilities. Since 2012, we have become an established force in the sport and aim to be amongst the most competitive with our 10th car: the XRX. Last year, we had the pleasure to receive Race Tech’s William Kimberley Award - a prestigious honour. From the workshop to the board room, this year we aim to “Simplify, then add lightness.
Formula Student is a student engineering competition held annually in the UK at Silverstone Circuit. University teams from around the world design, manufacture, test, and race a formula style race car. These cars are judged by industry specialists on a number of criteria:

Cost and Manufacturing - 115
Engineering Design - 150
DYNAMIC EVENTS
Skid Pad - 75
Acceleration - 75
Sprint - 100
Efficiency - 100
Endurance - 250
The winner of the event is the team with the highest number of points out of a maximum of 1000.
